Sharing; nothing more nothing less. This song is dedicated to Yuzuru Kobayashi. He wanted the ending to sound like as if a thunder was gradually approaching and finally exploding. Originally recorded on my album HITORI (2007), I feel like I am finally getting around to really being able to perform the songs on the album; don't be surprised to see more from HITORI revamped. Thank you 2017, and looking forward to continuing the journey into 2018. Happy holidays & rock on with love!

ゆずりあい、まさにこれです。この曲は、小林譲へのおくりものです。「豪くん、終わりは雷がゆっくり近づいてくる感じにできるかな？」と言われたのをきっかけに最後は盛り上げることにしました。もともと2007年のリリース、アルバム「ひとり」のなかの一曲。ようやくある程度満足して弾けるようになってきています。2017年ありがとう、ジャーニーは2018年へ続く。今後ともよろしくです、みんな、いくぞ！

"Song of Myanmar"

This was my first trip to Myanmar. The climate is quite different from what I am used to in the US and Japan, and I believe it destroyed my Michael Jackson jacket. I was not surprised since I had a hard time breathing at 4am when I went out for a run... things were very much not in the normal conditions I was used to overall. The audio is from a performance I did at one of the schools, and all the footage in this video was shot by myself. Ten years ago, I had a goal to visit a new country every year; I am now revisiting that goal with some flexibility. Myanmar reminded me to live once. People were so nice, and the kids just simply loved to rock... I can be that way, we all can be that way.

GOH ~Broken Tour 2017 final (Japan/Myanmar/America)~
theme: "Community Building with My Family My Friends"
テーマ：「マイファミリーマイフレンズ地域社会づくり」

Hi all! I am back in Japan as of yesterday; starting the journey with a live show at ライブハウス鶴ヶ島ハレ (Tsurugashima, Saitama) tonight (Fri Oct 20). Next week in Myanmar for a celebration of the first school opening in Shikui Village, put together by Goen Project, supported by ANA.Japan (All Nippon Arilines) and Elite Acoustics (guitar amp & cables). I will also visit Dream Train (of Japan Heart). Third week, I perform at Life Stage (an assisted living facility in southern Japan) and a cafe they just finished building, as well as a show at LIVE BAR・雷神(Saga, Saga; Sun Nov 5). On Thursday, November 9, I have my first ever one man solo show in Tokyo at Goodstock Tokyo (Ota, Tokyo). Closing the tour this year will be at BRILLIANT STRINGS (Sun Dec 3; Los Angeles, CA).

Sketches of answers are written throughout my dairy right here. Composed within two days, this song was finished the day before yesterday and filmed/recorded on that same fresh day. The song is about the underlying strength and weakness... a blue goddess and dark los angeles... when we embrace them both, we can arrive at the awareness that love will shine through us all.
